Leave a Legacy – Appalshop 50th Anniversary

From youth media & music scholarships to infrastructure investments, legacy gifts are a significant part of Appalshop’s history and through our 50th Anniversary Campaign help secure the next 50 years of art & media in the mountains. Many of us can give more generously from our estates than we can today. A bequest gift is a beautiful way to secure your impact and family’s legacy, as well as Appalshop’s future.

There is no greater commitment to Appalachian art and culture than to ensure it thrives when you’re gone. The legacy you created during your lifetime can continue, often in your name, in perpetuity with a bequest to Appalshop. Bequests provide tremendous tax benefits because they are fully deductible from an individual’s estate. Bequest intentions may be included at the time a new will is drawn or added to an existing will. Helpful information can be found on Appalshop’s Guidestar Profile, the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations.

Our staff are happy to work with you or your financial planner on making a Legacy gift commitment to Appalshop’s 50th Anniversary, ensuring the largest single body of creative work about Appalachia thrives and grows well into the future.
