What do kids know? What do they do, and think about? Today on Radio-Gram – stories and commentaries by them – for them and for you too.

Some of the smartest younger people I have known are ones who have sadly found school to be a place that is not welcoming or encouraging, the Appalachian Media Institute produced this story about leaving school.
Thanks for tuning to Radio-Gram on WMMT this week – this Radio-Gram was produced by me – Mia Frederick, with help from Tom Anderson, Natasha Watts, Eli Gover, Deirdre Gibson and the Apalachian Media Institute. Remember that beginning next week Radio-Gram moves to Tuesday evenings at 6 PM, but as always if you miss the regular broadcast – you can listen to Radio-Gram and other WMMT programs online at wmmtfm.org, another thing to remember – school is back in session so leave a little bit early, and hey – look both ways – and – stay tuned to WMMT, mountain public community radio – raido that’s always young and heart.
