Roberta Webb. author of Dark and Bloody Ground, will be the guest on Appalachian Attitude, Monday, Feb. 4, at the new time of 4 p.m. The book is a saga spanning several generations of a family living on Pine Mountain, straddling the Kentucky-Virginia line, from the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s. Murder, moonshining and mining predominate, but in a context of strength, intelligence and love -- no stereotypes here. Webb, who was born Roberta Hayes, grew up in Jenkins and now lives in Texas.
