The song; Jesus, this is Jimmy.... came from the late 1970's. The song was very popular during the time the "Trucker Songs" were popular. It was about a small boy named Jimmy that was praying one day to Jesus. "Jesus, this is Jimmy...Jesus,this is Jimmy...were the only words he knew how to pray..." This simple one line prayer he repeated over and over, the Lord Jesus heard the little boys prayer and answered Jimmy...I can not remember who sang nor recorded the song, but I think it was a popular country singer at the time. If anyone knows the lyrics and who sang it please let us know. Thank you and God Bless you.
