I knew Marvin most of my life. We talked on the CB radio a lot while I was in Jr. High and high school. After leaving town I always talked to him when back visiting. He was a really great fellow and a great friend, always upbeat and positive about life. He really loved collecting different caps, and I brought a few back for him from different parts of the world; he was always appreciative.

All of us who knew Marvin will miss him a lot, he was a great fellow and an outstanding human being. He really enjoyed his air time on WMMT and was respected by all his listener friends. Those who knew him know what a great fellow he was; those who didn't really missed meeting a fellow who lived and enjoyed life.
