Three generations of Ison women tell their stories about growing up at the on the banks of Kingdom Come Creek, in Letcher County Kentucky. From the days of the one room school filled with children to today when many who were raised on the creek have left the mountains for school and work, the ties to the “homeplace” remain strong.
